FDHS Track & Field Make Noise at the California State Indoor Meet in Fresno

FDHS Track & Field Team made some noise Sat. at the California State Indoor Meet in Fresno. Corey Ottley took 4th place in his heat among the top sprinters in California High School Track. Corey was one of only 135 high school 55 meters runners that qualified to compete in the meet on Sat. Look for Corey to do big things this year in Track & Field for FDHS.  

FDHS Track & Field Team Make a Good Showing at the Santa Monica High School All Comers Meet

Congrats! Go out to the FDHS Track & Field team for an outstanding job at Saturday's Santa Monica High School All Comers Meet. Quincy Okobi won his heat for the Boys 100 meters, Shomari took 2nd place in the Boys 400 meters and Bree Hall finished 2nd in the Girls 100 meters Hurdles. Corey Ottley will represent the FDHS Track Team at the California Indoor State Meet this coming weekend in the 55 meters.

FDHS Track & Field at Cerritos College Sat. Feb. 12th - California Indoor State Meet Qualifiers

Congratulations goes out to our Boy's and Girl's Track Team for participating in the California Indoor State Meet Qualifying Meet this Sat. at Cerritos College. Corey Ottley qualified in the 55 meters with a time of 7.1 and will represent the Frederick Douglass Track & Field Team on Feb. 26th in Fresno. 

FDHS Track & Field Practices

Attention: All athletes and parents track practices will take place Mon., Tues. and Wed. from 4:00pm - 5:30pm at Crenshaw High School starting 2/14/11. The bus is scheduled to pick up all students from Frederick Douglass HS at 3:45pm. All parents should make arrangements to pick up students at FDHS around 6:00pm. If it is okay for your child to leave the Crenshaw High School track after practice please provide Coach Jefferson or Coach Guzman with a written note.
